Is it hard for you to imagine a waterfall and stream without a pond? Are you wondering, Where does the water come from? Where does the water go?

Well, it actually works much like the equipment in a pond. A hole, deeper than a normal pond, is dug, then lined with underlayment and a 45 mil liner. The Snorkel^TM and Centipede^TM are installed and then the basin is lined with rock and gravel, and filled with water. The water is then circulated from beneath the rocks and gravel by a pump that is housed in the snorkel vault. A pipe runs from the vault up to a BIOFALLS® filter and into an overflowing waterfall and stream, where it falls back into the reservoir and the cycle begins again - the ultimate circulatory system! Since the water level in the reservoir basin never pools above the level of the rock and gravel fill, it gives the appearance of a Pondless® Waterfall.
